I've just added support in unstable for starting ser with > 4Gb (for 64 bit systems), some fragm. avoidance code and hooks for a future mem. defragmenter. Hopefully I didn't break malloc in the process :-) In case I did, use the "before_malloc_changes" tag. Andrei
